An introduction...

Hey people, Alex here. I finally got around to joining the forums, so I thought introducing me will be a good place to start.

It has been about six months since I left uni behind and, as luck would have it, I ended up doing almost none of the things I was trained to do!

Oh well, I am in IT at present, which is alright for a job. It goes without saying that I like my hardware, gadgets and games, but I also tend to take a step back from it all and enjoy a good book or a film, now and again. To stay fit, I tend to hike, although I won’t mind picking up martial arts again – loved it as a kid.

I discovered OCUK three years ago and lurked on these boards ever since. Posting here should be even better! I hope you will agree.

A bad, bad decision to sign up!

If you've been lurking here for 3 years already, you know what this place is like!!

If life is a mad illusion, I choose it to be OCUK. It is also possible, that by making every bad decision there is to make, I will arrive at something great by process of elimination - if nothing else!

I will try to stay away from drinking the water, though. It seems to have an interesting effect on people here.
