an odd problem 8800gts

ok ive got an 8800gts and its been happy running along but a strange problem is happening

i have the card connected to my tv but the very second i turn my tv on it will make windows vista blue screen and crash

i have updated drivers, and moved the power so the tv is not pluged into the same outlet

i have had a 7800gt that worked with the tv no problems

any ideas :confused:
