I have an secound 8 year old gaming pc, it was good in the day! I wanted to set it up to do one job and that's to stream content! So an streaming pc. So that it takes of the extra hard work from my good gaming system.
Unfortunate that the hardware can't take the extra power and can not able to stream at all. I started with the lower OBS settings and move up to it's highest point to where it starts to lag and kicks a punch.
Yes using OBS with ndi plugin. the screen resolution 1280x1024 then down to 1280x720. it tends to stream all good when the bit set to 2000 and encoding set to very slow. But the results are very bad. stream doesn't lag it just unwatchable.
Then so I look around for an better CPU, i7 860/870 and thought to myself that won't even take it?????
SPECS:
Asus p7p55 lx
intel Core i5 650 @3.20GHz (2 cores)
4GB ram
Windows 10 Home 32bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 1GB memory
500GB HDD
coolermaster GX 550W
I might be better of selling it for £150 as parts!!!!!
