An xmas day build log!

Hey guys, am in process of moving some of my core components into a new house, as well as a few new ones! What an xmas, although i've had to pay for much of it

-Dell ST2410 24" 1080p monitor
-Lancool Dragonlord PC-K62
-Powercolor 5850
-Samsung PB-22J 64GB SSD
-Windows 7 HP 64-bit
-Razer Deathadder
-Razer Goliathus
-Razer Lycosa
-Vantec Nexus NXP-301 Fan and Cathode controller
-Lamptron Red Cold Cathodes


First, here is my Phenom II 940, Asus M3A79-T Deluxe and Noctua NH-UP12 which i've had for a few months, although I have added an additional fan today:

Right, I am now going to commence building in the case...

Right here is the case - it has such a nice finish and looks amazing...

In goes the PSU and mobo

It is very easy to install the mobo with these useful thumb screws, even though the size of the noctua tried its best to get in the way!

Hi guys, I have now finished hardware installation and now face the challenge of cable management, but i'm finding it to be a pleasure in this case!

Ok, here is my Sammy SSD, 3.5" HDDs are installed toolessly like my sammy 640gb f1.
However the 2.5" drives have to screwed to the tray

Here is my Powercolor 5850, ready to go in the case...

Here is the case as it stands, prior to cable management and installation of the red cold cathodes!

Finally got it finished!

With my old 228wfp dell monitor here

Sorry this build took so long, but what with xmas and the family, its been a pretty hectic day!

Right, next is to unbox the monitor, keyboard and mouse! Will do that very soon. But the build is running smoothly and installing Windows (very quickly)!

Whose cathodes packed up? Your original blue ones or the new red ones?

One of the reds packed up (1 day old ), so got one red and one blue in there now, but it looks pretty smart.
