Now this looks like a good idea an analogue keyboard, its long over due, and would definitely get one of these, even if the name of the company sounds strange..
I've never seen the point of analog keyboards - I've never had a problem with precise input with a regular mechnical keyboard with blacks and in anything else I'd just get the proper controller rather than struggle with a keyboard analog or not.
This strikes me as probably only being a desirable feature to have for some video games. I think I'd still prefer the dual combo of a game pad and keyboard for day to day use if the keys of this thing sacrifice tactile feel for analogue functionality.
I don't understand how great analogue keyboards would be. The short travel distance on the key wouldn't leave much for an input range, or it'll be hyper sensitive. Also, the finger fatigue of continuous hovering on keys to lightly press them with differing pressures.
This has just been successfully kickstarted, so it's coming. Always wanted an analogue keyboard, only problem is that it is completely impossible to Google. This might been even more interesting in the future is it they implement a full keyboard, other switches, like Browns, and increase the key travel for analogue mode, something that isn't done on normal mechanical keyboard due to redundancy.
