Surprised there has been no posts here regarding the newly announced.

I've never owned a PC engine console but I am considering picking this up. However, it sems like quite a complex console to collect for with the different add-ons and media formats.

Is anyone else planning on ordering this FPGA console from Analogue?

Any recommendations for games to keep an eye out for?

I'd imagine the interest will be less than what the pocket was. Before the pocket, everything they sold was relatively easy to order, even the recent NT Mini Noir didn't sell out instantly. I'd still try get it on day one if you're interested though, I don't know why they can't just do an open pre-order with a cutoff date because this probably won't even enter production for months. They could well be doing actual "limited quantities" though, but I don't know why they'd spend all the time and money developing it for noticeable limited quantities.

To note; analogues consoles are now liable for "anti-dumping duty" for some reason, I got my NT Mini Noir yesterday, ended up paying about £200 in import fees, £12 was fedex fee, and half left was import duty, and the other half was this anti-dumping duty.

Ouch, I heard about that 25% extra duty on Reddit. So unfair for consumers.

I'd imagine Analogue will make an adequate amount over time but limited quantity likely around 10k units at launch? I'm sure speculative figures on the pocket were around that much.
