Anyone even know that this RTS exists ? The gameplay is a mix of Age of Empires meets Total War and the beta, which only allowed MP or Skirmish ran smoothly and supports ultrawide out of the box (hoorah !!!)

Ancestors Legacy is a squad-based real time strategy with a strong focus on tactics. Inspired by medieval European history, it brings to life four different nations and their conflicts, usually solved by war.

There's a campaign covering three factions, multiplayer and skirmish so far. ** Stuff could change (tm) **

Roughly £17-20 on various sites .... They have no review embargo and sites/streamers will get to play it at least 3 days before release on the 22nd May.

Yes its from the developers of the much controversial hatred game. They wanted to branch off and go about something totally new an RTS fitted that bill perfectly. It looks interesting from what I can gather although I absolutely hate the user interface. I may give it a shot if they improve on that gripe I have alone :).

Hatred was basically a quick way to make money so they could make more expensive games they actually wanted to make. Not a bad strategy :D
This game looks really good so far.

If any of you want to test out Skirmish use this link > HERE < to try out the closed beta ... forgot to add it to the initial post. Hopefully it still works and you can at least test the performance and game mechanics before buying.

Once you open the above link, click on the FREE button and let it start downloading via steam.

Piccy of what to do ...

The demo was removed from the store page but it is still accessible via that link.

Just came across this on Steam - anyone end up buying it? Does look pretty good from what i can see but have been burnt a few too many times recently with PC games...

I tried a demo of this some time ago, it didn’t hook me in at all. Maybe the full release was better but it felt like something was missing at the time, couldn’t put my finger on it, just unsatisfying to play.
