Good watch.

Impressed with the 9070XT comparative performance with the 5080 for the money?

Everyone lucky enough got one at msrp, how do you feel abought your purchase now?

Hopefully @GhostDog1981 is going to be happy now and keep this one!

Good video as always.

Definitely happy to keep mine now I see the prices going up!

Enjoying mine and not having to compromise on settings at 1440p is a massive bonus.

They say there’s no such thing as a bad GPU, just a bad price and if I were to sum up Lackwell, it’s the prices. The 9070XT and to a lesser extent the 9070 make the Nvidia cards look woefully overpriced.

My plan was to buy a 5080, move my 4080 to my son’s PC and sell on his 7900 XT. Then I saw how mediocre the performance uplift was from my 4080 for the £1300 a 5080 would have cost on launch day. I calculated that “upgrade” would cost me up to £600. Basically the price of a 9070 XT.

I elected to wait for RDNA4 and am delighted I did. I paid £180 in total for an upgrade from a 7900XT to a 9070XT.
