Taking the plunge and adding on a server upgrade. Board needs Core2 Duo/Quad support and absolute rock solid stability.

Will never be overclocked, just needs to be stable for 24/7/365. RAID-5 with 6 or more SATA-II ports is a big bonus.

Sorry, should have been more specific...

It's running a Core2 E2160 CPU, 4Gigs of DDR2 RAM (OCZ 4GB 2x2Gb PC2-6400), 8400GS Video Card.

Will be running 1x320Gb SATA Boot drive and 4x 750Gb Spinpoint SATA drives (in RAID 5 which I'd like done on the board itself without forking out for a hardware card).

Needs to be standard ATX or smaller footprint.

Price ideally under £80 excluding VAT

Asus P5K Pro Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard looks good as per your link. SATA's are off the same chipset meaning I could expand to 6x drives in future, can't be a bad thing ;)

About a year ago, recommendation was for Intel boards for 24/7 servers, is the Asus as solid? (ie, am I gaining anything for paying £12 more for the Asus). Is the Asus ?more? stable??
