And driver problem?

Amd drivers slowing down new card do I need to do a full reinstall.
My old card had a bast clock of 840mhz my new card as 975mhz the cards are the sale card so I thought I could just swap them out.

In gpuz it says stock clock 975 then affective clock at 840

Is that your 290 that was flashed to a 290x?

i would strip out the current drivers and then go download the latest drivers from the AMD site

No I got 2x 7950 for a friend. The bios as been flashed to run a no without messing afterburner or trixx, the bios as taken because the second card is at full speed but card one runs at stock clocks.
If I change he card round it's the same story. I also set the fans to run at 40% in bios but again card 1 runs at 30% stock and card 2 is at 40%.

I will try a driver reinstall when his new ssd comes tomorrow.

Also the 290 is back at stock after updates mobo bios again. But I am happy as it's finally stable
