And still no resizable msconfig window...

i don't even find it an issue - just doubleclick on the resize-field-bar and it'll expand to the largest entry - do this for the process name, it's description and it's location and everything's fine. sure, a little bit of side-scrolling's a hassle but it's not like you need to use msconfig every day.

More annoying is no way to remotely control msconfig the same as as "connect to another computer" works on services.msc

really really needs a remote configuraiton ability

You can just use remote registry access though!

Aye but it's not quite as quick to use as msconfig, have to click my way through it to disable all the startup items and such on remote machines

would be nice to be able to just connect to msconfig on a remote machine, untick what i don't want the machines to have in the startup section and hey presto, but alas it's not to be

Oh yea, so difficult to navigate to HKLM > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Run.

Alternatively, just use psexec and run msconfig remotely anyway.
