Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Languages -> Text service and input language

Is THAT on English (United Kingdom)?

I always remove the US layout at install. Such a pain in the arse.
Surely the european versions of windows default to UK?

Just like the Windows Installer always defaults to a timezone of Tijuana, instead of the more obvious Greenwich Mean Time.

Was annoying this happened to me and I couldn't find the £ sign either. Easy to change though as outlined above.

yeah i hate the way it add the "EN" icon, why is US keyb always selected, grr!
