Hello,

on my Samsung Galaxy S4 a process called Unified Daemon(EUR) has used 117Mb of data in 18 days !
I am not sure what this service is and what App's is causing such a high use of mobile data. my limit is 500MB and if the usage rate is constant then I would have use just about half my data allowance on just one App / service !

How do I turn this off please ! ?

You can restrict background data for apps by selecting the specific app in data usage and checking the restrict background data option at the bottom.

I've had to restrict some apps in background. One used 2gb on wifi (thank god) and all it was was a festival map... That got deleted but it did prompt me to see what other apps were up to.

Hi,

where in the menu are the settings to restrict the data ?

Can I select WiFi for update only ?

It's in the wireless and networks section (you might have to select the more option to be able to access the data usage option).

Once you get into the data usage section, you should see the data usage graph along with a list of apps that have been using data, and all you have to do is select the app and swipe up to see the restrict background data option you need to select.

What you should see should look something like that.
