Should be a lot sooner than that HTC are probably one of the biggest manufacturers using Android Software
Tell that to Hero users. The phone that was HTC's top phone since July last year until the Desire (and Nexus One) came out.

OK so guess' when HTC will update this then?
Next year maybe?
It'll all depend on the OEM if you get 2.2 or not.... There is a reason I went for the Nexus put it that way![]()
Personally, I'd rather have 2.1 with Sense than 2.2 without it. I'm happy to wait, my Desire is hardly lacking![]()
For Android phones, Flash support will require Android 2.2 and an ARM Cortex-A8 or better processor. That means the HTC Incredible, Google Nexus One, Sprint EVO, and Motorola Droid will be the only Flash-capable phones currently on the market, if and when they get 2.2 OS upgrades..
Surely the Desire and X10 will be compatible?

Yeah... Seems to be a US site so they dont mention UK phones. Desire is a N1 with a diff skin so yes.
X10, you would thinks SE would but, then again, you would think SE would have given it 2.1 to begin with![]()
Sony Ericsson launched the Xperia X10 Android smartphone in early April through the NTT DoCoMo network. The X10, simply known as Xperia in Japan, has gone on to become the quickest selling smartphone in DoCoMo’s history according to a Barclay’s Capital report.
Sorry if I am being stupid but where do I get this update for my Nexus? Please reply.
