android 5 users... help

I purchased a nexus6 and copied my photos folder from my nexus5 into my photo folder on the nexus6

Using a 3rd party 'gallery' (quick pic) app I can see they are present on the phone.

When I use the default 'photo' app the pictures show but only because I am looking at the cloud backup. When I disable data they are not there. Anyone have any advice to change this ?

Yes sorry that is what I am using. Just don't know why the google one is not showing my photos on the phone.

Grrrrr winds me up. Clearly the PICs are on my phone as quick PIC sees them with or with out data. But googles 'photo' just sees the cloud version of the same PIC

Yes was a straight copy from that folder to the n6.

It bugs me more than anything.

Ok chaps will try both. I might also delete my cloud storage I have and see if that does the trick. Everything is backed up else where
