I currently have a plex server, and I'm having trouble finding a suitable way to play music through my amp without having to through the Plex for samsung app on the TV.
My amp will browse the server itself, but my god is it slow.
Ideally I'd like to use my phone to chuck stuff from my server to my amp, but not a single app I have will look at my server - play music, samsung music, etc. I could use Spotify Connect but I really don't want to pay a monthly sub when I have all the music I need.
Plex would be ideal but it will only play to plex receivers. I understand the limit with TV and video, but they should let music be played via any device.
