Android Apps In Landscape Mode - S7 Plus

I'm loving the S7+ tablet, and tend to use it in landscape mode. I'm finding apps such as twitter and facebook are awful in this format. They just make posts huge rather than giving a great hd optimised version. I'm resorting to the web version for some which offers a much better layout, has anyone resolved the same issue with either replacement apps with better layouts or is there something im missing?

Nope you arent missing anything and actually you are doing it the correct way, I do the same on my S7+ and on my phone because through the browser (Firefox + uBlock Origin) its a cinch to block to plethora of ads.

It's been the same with every android tablet I've had, landscape support in apps is pathetic

Same issue here on the S5e. Even in vertical mode though I still prefer the PWA versions, the apps are too phone focused.
