Android Apps (whats your favorite?)

Yeah, on my development G1 it's fine, I guess other people do more with the phone so it's got less memory to play with.

Sorry about the recent flurry of upgrades, I managed to create bugs by fixing others :/

Best game so far for me is Farm Frenzy, there is a lite version. I ended up buying the full one as its so addictive!

Anyone know if there's a PSX emulator in the works? This is the one thing stopping me getting android - I'm desperate to be able to play FF7 on my phone (and other nostalgic games ofc)

I seriously recommend the Bonsai Blast game. It's awesome & free!

It is brilliant, loads of levels too, so takes a while to complete. :)

Not had the phone long, main apps so far;

Babbler Lite Facebook Version
BeebPlayer
fIRC Chat
Bonsai Blast
Droid Mini Golf
Zombie, Run!
Dice
Steamy Windows
SchottGunn
Metal Detector

Last 4 are just some fun ones I've been playing about with, will likely remove them soon. :)

Whats the best turn by turn direction gps software for the htc hero? I thought Google Maps would use the onboard GPS?

I bought and used CoPilot over the weekend, costs £26 so not too bad, and installation/map download was easy enough.

The actual nav stuff is quite good really, nice and configurable as well, only issue I had was regular notices for various other apps that they'd stopped responding (giving force close or wait options) but not sure if that was copilot itself or (more likely) that I'm running one of the 'experimental' Cyanogen roms, need to get around to trying a 'stable' rom at some point...

I really wouldn't hold your breath for a PSX emulator, I don't think the hardware in the Android devices is capable (and that's from someone who writes software for them)

I used to work for the company that wrote that!

Cheers for the answer, what's your take on the new Snapdragon chips, eg the experia 3
