Do you think Android will ever be useful as a desktop os? I think if Android 5 was something that could be used on a phone, tablet or desktop is full hd would be awesome.

Isn't android already a desktop OS?

I know i've got a old version on my netbook, only problem is the constant internet connection it needs to do anything.

As much as I hate Apple, they already have the cloud and cross platform support so it's more than possible for android to do the same thing.

I think its a was a good idea for google to invest so heavily into Motorola, if they can work out a way to get true mobile computing on tablets and laptops cheap. Chrome OS/Android would certainly take more of a market share.

Ive used android s a desktop via my galaxy s3 connected to my plasma via a mhl lead. its almost there but some things are just infuriating such as selecting options on a site , it brings a full screen dropdown instead of doing it on the page. Just things like that slowed it down and i couldnt use it as a desktop os from then on.

If they found a way to have a full browser in that didnt do that , and to put it into 1080p then i think it could be really good
