Android Backup for PC?

Hi,

I'm after a decent backup solution for my S7.

Google account sync does an OK job, but it doesn't do texts (for example) and will only upload photos with a reduced resolution unless I use my account space, of which I don't have much left. That means when I change phone, or if something happens, my full res photos are gone.

So I'm after something that I can just run every so often manually that will do all media, images, the whole MicroSD card, text messages and so on.

I'm not currently rooted, so something that doesn't need rooting would be good.

Any ideas?

Edit: I don't mind an app that sits on my phone which will back up to the MicroSD card which I can then move off to my PC. There seem to be loads of these, but it's difficult to sift through the typical advert filled ones!

Thanks.

I'm not rooted, so maybe I could. Wasn't a fan of Kies last time I used it, but happy to give it another go if it does proper backups - does it backup MMS, SMS, photos, SD card content etc?

Kies no longer works with the S7. However, they have a new application called Smart Switch which is doing a pretty perfect job of backing up my phone. I can even browse my images in the backup on my PC which is nice :)
