Hi guys,

I haven't attempted this in yonks, I think the last time I tried was with a S3 - and it was hit and miss then!

I'm currently trying to send 4x media files from my phone (OP5 9.0) to my S5e tab (9.0) and although the devices are paired and can see each other, every time I try to send a file I get an instant 'Sending Failed' warning.

Any ideas?

Indeed wouldn't you transfer files using wireless - much faster ... I've been using duckto for ever - but equally setting up a share.

Thanks guys! Apps-wise, I've been using Google's Files - that has a file send/receive option.

Had a quick look at Duckto - 5 years since an update? I'd be a bit wary of that.

Happy to look at others though :D

Don't have any issues with my XZP and S5e using Files from Google. It uses Wi-Fi direct and it's pretty fast.

I just tried a direct USB connection between my phone and tablet. The phone does the usual asking what to do (charging, file access, etc), while the S5e instantly opens the file manager app and when granted permission, is able to access the phone's files. Could try that if you have a type C to type C cable?

EDIT: Wait... the first post is 22nd July... well at least OP relied :p
