Android Bluetooth question - earphone pairing

Hi guys,

I need Bluetooth on all the time but if I use my BT earphones I end up having to unpair them so that I can hear my phone (calls/texts etc) when I'm not using them... obviously I have to reconnect them each time I want to use them, which is a bit of a bind

Any workarounds?

Just click on the button on the call/dial screen? Same button as speaker/handset IIRC.

I do it all the time.

Thanks, but wouldn't you have to do that every time you made a call? - I have actually done that in the past

Also, what about incoming message/notifications etc? I would still get them (the sounds) through the earphones wouldn't I?

In the Bluetooth settings you can select the headphones to just be used for media or calls.
