As the title suggests i am interesting in trying out some other CPU governors on my Xperia Z2. Seem to have found one i'm happy with which is called "IntelliMM". Does anyone else use a CPU governor that is not the default governor? What are your experiences with certain CPU governors?

IntelliMM for me seems to be the right balance between battery life and performance, my phone only lost 2% battery overnight.

Seems to last for about ~6 hours screen on too.

I've used different and tweaked governors before, but to be honest there are always tradeoffs somewhere along the line so it depends what the focus is. There basically isn't just a 'best' one, so you'll just have to try a few and see what works best for you. It depends on the underlying CPU architecture and then the balance between pwer and performance, which is why it's not possible for one to be the best.

Losing battery overnight shouldn't be affected by the governor at all since the CPU will be in deep sleep almost the whole time and therefore the governor plays no role in power consumption, though the screen on life will be affected by it to a small degree (The CPU still isn't the biggest factor in SoT battery life).

I've used intellimm before and it's very good for battery. If you have fiops i/o then you should pair it with that.
Wheatley is also good for battery. Pair that with row or sio i/o.
