Dunno where to put this, could be music, phones, headphones, software, whatever.

I bought a pair of cheapo Ugreen headphones (because I keep losing/breaking the things) and it's a bit bass heavy with Tidal, apparently there are apps that work with Tidal to change the EQ settings, yet none of the ones I've tried work.

Phone's a Pixel 8 Pro if that makes any difference.

Any ideas?

I've got an equalizer on a DAP I use in the car. Spent hours and hours tuning the cars audio only to resort to a 3rd party app :D

It works with Tidal - I forget the name but I'll take a look later.

Wiim Pro Plus? That's if you want a dedicated streamer at home.

if you have unlimited data, you've tried using the higher quality streams on tidal ?
these streams and their eq improved the experience using tidal with car-play, although spotify with it's equalizer is better for me.
Otherwise for my ripped music I use foobar&vlc both of which have equalizers.
