android Facebook app

Hi guys,

Me and the Mrs both have same phone, nexus 5, and same version of the Facebook app yet hers has fancy sound effects.

In her options she has an option for sound, but that option is missing in my facebook app settings.

Both versions are the same and I have deleted and reinstalled Facebook and still don't have the option.

Any idea?

Hmmm not that you mention it my wife was using Facebook on her Galaxy S3 last night and I heard a few random little sounds. Never noticed or seen any of these on my Nexus 5 running Lollipop, but it hasn't bothered me

Go to "Settings" -> "Apps" and find the Facebook app, and see what version it is.

Facebook usually has a group of users on a newer version of the app to test out new features, perhaps she was randomly chosen for this?

You can use ES File explorer to "back up" the app to get the apk and then install it on your phone if you really want the sounds.
