Hi,

I am about to restore my OnePlus one to factory settings.

Every time I do this it never restores all the apps I want to use and restores a few I had long since removed. What controls what apps are automatically restored?

I want the phone to automatically restore all the apps on I have now. Ive looked on Google play to see if there is a way but cant see it.

p.s I know there is the Titanium Backup option but don't want to root.

Cheers

The issue with a factory reset is just that, all settings, data and non factory apps are removed.

I tend to still use factory resets rather than backups, despite having root and re-install any apps as and when I have a need for them, keeps things less bloated that way. I just dump any media like mp3's onto my pc before the reset so they can be dumped back on the phone easily.

I just did a factory re-set. It was very random what did and didn't get auto-restored. YouTube didn't, but the app from my gym did. Few games and reading type apps also auto-restored.

Wonder if it's due to Cyanogen.
