Android file backup to Synology NAS

I'm trying to find a way to do a 'file synchronise' type backup to my Synology DS213 Air NAS, but am having some trouble finding an easy solution. I've had a play with the Android 'rsync' app, which I hoped would be able to SFTP files to my NAS, but have had no luck with that (I do have SFTP enabled on port 22). For the intended purpose (wife and daughter phone photo/video backup) rsync may be a bit too 'techy'. I've got the Synology DSFile app installed but that seems pretty useless for a folder-level sync.

Has anyone any ideas on this? I can't believe this isn't something folks want to do. We have Galaxy S3's and therefore have 50GB Dropbox accounts, but I just want to store stuff myself on my own storage...

Your thoughts are welcome!

I use Folder Sync on my phone and you can set folders on your phone to sync back and forwards to a remote location either in the cloud or locally.
I set my picture folders to sync to my unRaid server via SMB every night at 3am, it's a great app.

Was also just to about to suggest Foldersync. I haven't used it with a NAS, though. There's a free version that lets you sync a limited amount of folders so you could check it works first.

Thanks for the replies. I've downloaded FolderSync, but then I go to select a remote folder, all I'm presented with is a list of folders on my phone / sdcard. How do I select a network resource?

I think initially you select a folder on your phone to backup, and after that you get to select a destination and which way the backup goes. I.e. phone to nas, or nas to phone.

Can't remember though!

Figured it out! I had to create a SMB account, and it now works a treat, brilliant! Thanks very much for the suggestion, I now have a scheduled sync to my NAS from my phone, just the job.

Can you shed a bit of light on that?

I'm trying to do it over WebDAV but keep getting the error 'Authorization Required' on FolderSync?

Update:

FolderSync had a bit of a fit and somehow managed to corrupt the Galaxy S3's SD card, it was doing something odd, so scared me off.

I've since come across the (IMO) quite brilliant Sweet Home. It's on the Play store, and simply does a one-way sync when you either connect to what you set as your 'home' wi-fi or when you are connected to your home wi-fi and plug your charger in. Works really well, and syncs to my Synology NAS without issue. It's designed to back up your photos, and goives you a pick list of suitable folders to include in the sync. Well worth a look.

I've uninstalled it now (see above) but from what I remember it was a different account type in FolderSync. If you're after the same solution as me, SweetHome is great.
