Just a quick question, does anyone use an android gamepads of some description?

Had a look on some auction sites and there are too many to choose from, some don't have reviews shop just wondering what peeps experiences are.

.

I have the Moga pro which I mainly used for emulators and it works very well. Some Android games do support it but only a little.

I'll probably use them mostly for Emulators, But I've got quite a few games (GTA etc) that I would want to work.

Heard bad things about the Moga disconnecting, but then again there aren't that many reviews for these things out.

What emulators does it work with?

PS - FPse: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.emulator.fpse
GBA - My Boy!: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fastemulator.gbafree
GBC: My OldBoy!: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fastemulator.gbcfree
DS - Drastic: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsemu.drastic

A few N64 emulators works well as well but I keep running into graphical errors with them oddly enough. I've tried PPSSPP for the PSP but it's not fully supported, and the developer seems more focused in getting the performance and glitches sorted out first. Dolphin for the NGC... I can't test as Adreno GPUs don't properly support OpenGL :p.

In terms of experience I have not noticed any disconnections with my HTC One M7, it stayed connected for hours with no problems.

What hyperseven linked above looks good if you already have a PS3 controller, in terms of build quality I have to admit the PS controller feels better than my Moga. Only downside I can see with it however is the requirements of the cable needing to be attached... unless you're using a Sony phone that natively supports the controller, or are rooted and have bought the Sixaxis app.

I have an iPega extending gamepad and it's awesome. I use with with both my Note 4 and my Shield Tablet.
