Gmail because the push feature is sexually impressive.

And if you use Gmail to its fullest, it's by far the best option except maybe for the exchange which I don't use so can't comment on.

I use Gmail for Gmail and the Mail app for my other accounts.

I use both.
My two personal Gmail accounts goto the Gmail app, and syncs contacts + calendar.
My work gmail + my work exch account goes to the mail app and syncs just calendars+mail.

Gmail don't need anything else, Google talk on my phone is also good. And I like the android theme
