Android phone recommendations please

Hi,

I have a 3 year old Nokia 6 and it's time to upgrade, I really like the vanilla Android experience so I've been waiting for the 6.3 to be released but it's taking forever and I'm now at a point where my phone is getting to slow and frustrating to use.

I'm really wanting as little bloat as possible if not none at all, good support with Android updates, good size screen around 6.5"

I'm not after a flagship but do want a large improvement in performance over my old Nokia, I'm not a mobile gamer either I just want snappy browsing and social media etc

I had a look at the OnePlus Nord but at £375 there is a lot of complaints about reliability and that puts me off.

Are there any other phones worth looking at, I would prefer to spend £300 if possible but preferably less

Oh a feature of the OnePlus I was really interested in was Alexa integration, I'm not sure if that can be done on any phone anyway though

Thanks I'll watch it in a bit, not really sure what YouTubers are any good for phone reviews as you can probably tell from the OP I don't buy phones that often

Isn't Pixel 4a a bit of a default choice at this price? It's what I'm considering next

My OP is a bit confusing tbh I really wanted to spend less than £300 but will go over if it's well worth it.

Moto G 5G + looks pretty impressive

Are they reliable? Read a fair bit in the past about Motorola phones having issues and then bad customer service, might have changed or not been right though
