android phone signal

Hi
i have a samsung s9+ and the signal is amazing, buti hate samsung phones with avengance.
I have tried Iphone x
oneplus 5T
Google pixel 3 xl
and neither of these phones can compare to the samsung signal quality.
as i live in the country there are quite a few times especially when i go to my do work on my boat that with the other phones i had no signal whatsoever yet with the samsung i get 2-3 bars annoyingly seeing as i want to get rid of the samsung.
does anyone know what android phones have the best signal apart from samsung please.

Having had phones with poor signal reception back in the distant past I'd stick with the phone that gives you best reception. 3g signal used to be weak here rurally and remember having an HTC that had poor reception compared to the Mrs iphone. Used to drive me mad. The HTC was the last phone I ever bought on contract. Got so sick of it I sold it and bought a s/h Samsung. Things have changed here and have a decent 4g service. If the Samsung works for you then I'd learn to get on with it! Much use a phone is with no reception - I know because I used to have that problem. I thought these days most phones were similar regards signal reception - seems maybe not?
