Obviously the DesireHD & Z are pretty nice, but I was hoping for a little more from the HD than it has been shipped with. The question is are there any other HTC devices in the pipeline that people have heard about, I will be looking at buying in December/January but don't mind holding out depending what the specs of it will be. Are samsung releasing an update to replace the Galaxy S?

Thanks for any info

What do you mean by a little more? What specific specifications is it that you are wanting upgrading?

I really like the Desire Z, I wish the specs were the same as the Desire HD

There's a rumour Samsung will be announcing a "Nexus Two" before the year is out, I wouldn't be expecting HTC to announcing anything anytime soon though.

I know SE are due to announce the Xperia X11 / X12 at the end of the month, with a shipping date in late Jan.

Yup, gingerbread has been released and the nexus 1 owners are expected to get it very soon:

- Samsung have released there new dual touch screen mobiles

- Motorola are releasing a new mobile with a dual core processor which will also have the GPU part done by nvidia, 4" or larger screen and slightly better hardware than the desire HD called the Terminator 2/T2 and this apparently will be the nexus 2, Samsung have claimed the rumors for them developing the nexus 2 as "not true"

You might wonder why on earth a dual core is needed for mobiles now, well apparently Google are really wanting to push the gaming on android forward a lot and some titles have apparently already been developed for the hardware of the nexus 2 to show the true power etc.

Plus apparently the nexus 2 will make all smartphones to date look like toys :p

- I honestly can't see HTC releasing anything for a while as they have only just released the Z and HD a few weeks ago with there new sense, maybe after January they might bring something new to the table with dual cores

I am not aware of anything else in terms of SE etc. releasing anything new.

Personally I would wait for the nexus 2, that way your guaranteed to have an amazing top end mobile for a good 1-2 years and your also guaranteed to get the latest android updates as soon as they are out, no need to be waiting for 3-5 months for an official update from the company and network providers.
