My work phone has 16GB of internal storage, I already offload pretty much everything on to an SD card.

In the storage menu it says I have 2.1GB of photos and videos and yet I can't find anything anywhere on the phone, so are these hidden files somewhere or what is going on and how to I free up some space?

Thanks, I'll take a look at that app.

No WhatsApp on the phone, there really is a bare minimum of stuff on it. It's a Samsung A3 (2017)

What is confusing is that it states 2.1GB of files next to Photos and Videos and yet if I click on it then it takes me to photos and videos but there's nothing there.

What phone is it?

Would this app help?: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.diskusage&hl=en_GB&gl=US

Are you also using apps such as WhatsApp? They will store photos sent/received from messages in the WhatsApp folder.

Thanks, that app sorted it.

There was a hidden folder where it stores copies of resized images that have been done through the email app, because I resize and send a lot of pictures there was over two gigs of them, no way to find them through the OS which is insane.
