Just wondering if anything has been released since the Prime that is worthy of consideration or if theres anything else on the horizon I should keep a look out for?
I've played with the latest iPad and have to admit its pretty damn sweet (despite being manufactured by that nauseating company) and have heard about numerous QC issues with the prime so... anything else Android based (running ICS preferably) that is worth a gander before i seriously contemplate doing the unthinkable?

size? the tab 7.7 is awesome.

The quadcore galaxy note 10.1 should be out soon-ish.

Prime has horrible wifi/gps issues - the Infinity is the ticket - esp the screen.

I've heard hit and miss on the prime in terms of wi-fi and screen bleed issues. Probably not worth buying at this stage.

Options are still fairly limited, it's essentially one of the many Galaxies, Acer Iconia a510 or Asus Transformer Pad 300.

Here is an interesting comparison of the Acer and the Prime

The Asus TF300 is coming out early May for £400 including dock. It is a Prime in a slightly lesser shell but with a very similar performance spec for £100 cheaper, and none of the QC issues apparently. See this thread for links to reviews etc http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18394646

If you are looking right at the top end of the market and don't mind a bit of a wait the Asus Infinity TF700T is due in June or July.

Well....i've just purchased 2 x Motorola Xooms (1st gen) for work. On Android 2.2.
Can't find anything to moan about so far, they are responsive, feature-packed and, well....just work really. Cost me £329 each for the wifi/3g version.

Really wanted a 7.7, but managed to get a 7.0 Plus for £220, so more than happy with that. Just waiting on ICS for it now.
