When using my previous phone (SGS5), I used Pushbullet and Mighty Text to read and, more importantly, send texts from my PC.
When I upgraded to my P20 Pro, however, there started to be problems with these apps. Neither would show sent texts either in their app or in the text app on my phone. I know some of these got through as I got replies, but it does mean that I can never be certain that a text from my PC has actually been sent.
I have installed AirDroid, but it is so gorram slow! It consistently takes two or three tries to connect, then another couple of attempts to sync with my SMS account, and then quite often I have to re-send outward texts a couple of times before they go off (last text took me four retried before it sent).
Is there another app for this? These seem to be the most popular three, but I'm losing it with them all! I've Googled and tried some fixed (e.g. installing altrantive text apps, clearing text cache, un/reinstalling each app...), but I have no solution as yet.
