Android to apple?

After years of android, I'm thinking about getting an iphone. How much of a ball ache will it be to copy everything over (if it can even be done) and transfer number? I'm guessing the number would just involve moving the sim card and letting my provider (Tesco mobile) know?
It would probably be an iphone 14 if that makes any difference. I'm a complete noob at this stuff.

If phone unlocked, no need to notify Tesco.

Some things may be already backed up on the cloud like photos and contacts if using Google.

Do you use a micro SD card in your android?

Did the transfer to my new phone last night,worked seemlessly using the move to ios app. Now just have to get used to the Apple way of doing things.

Well, so far loving the iphone, huge step up from my old Mototola. Unfortunately I can already feel myself getting sucked in as I keep looking at Airpods now.
