Does anyone have any first hand experiences with these google tv/Android boxes you can buy?

The reason i ask is i live in Tenerife and i've moved from a house that had british TV to a house with no british TV. The old house was on a complex with a massive satellite dish to feed all the houses.
This one doesnt
so therefor no TV in English.
Over here you have just a few options for TV in English. The cheapest one is getting an IPTV box from a particular supplier for €200.
I was just wondering though. These boxes that run android, can they stream British TV from the likes of filmon etc?
Does anyone know much about them?
