My USB OTG cable arrived today. When I connect my D3100 to my S3 it is detected as a camera. I can view the images in the gallery but I can't find a way to view the SD card contents elsewhere. I want to be able to see the video files on the SD in order to open them in another app.

Does anyone got any ideas?

Try the app for looking at files er... is it "my files" or something? Otherwise ES file explorer/Astro will do it.

EDIT: It's probably mounted as a drive like USB or something to pre-warn you. Might not be 100% obvious.

So it looks like you need something to mount it, item's are apparently not automatically mounted (unless your ROM supports it) so you need to fix that first. Looking around it should be mounted in /sdcard/usbstorage once you do mount but you can also find it under /mnt in root.. I think. My knowledge of linux file systems is er... limited :D
