Which do you prefer and why?

I am thinking of getting an ipad Air.

Currently use a Samsung Tab A 10.1. It only has 2mb ram and i am constantly having to select 'Drive maintenance' to free up ram when online.

It's a mixed bag. Apple has much better tablet apps. I'm personally heavily invested in the Android ecosystem though and I ended up with the S5e (6gb RAM version), which is still great for media, but you get the odd app that is just a blown phone UI (Twitter and Instagram for example).

I’m totally in the Android ecosystem, but always end up going to Apple for my tablets.

I still use all the same Google apps, but just prefer the Apple hardware when it comes to tablet use.

Good android tablets are few and far between ....the good ones aren't cheap and the cheap ones aren't good.
It's a problem for those of us who don't like ios.

I am very much leaning towards the Ipad Air. So many reviews give it a big edge over Android.

S5-e 6GB RAM with 128GB drive.

Why? Hard to explain, but I bought an iPad Pro before this and gave it to my wife a week later. I just don't like the Apple ecosystem, it feels really dated.

Got an S5E tablet and I came from having 2 previous iPads for many years. Been really happy with it, screen is excellent... only complaint is that sometimes when you try to select things it's sometimes unresponsive.

I ended buying a Tab S6 and it's great for the money. The screen, speakers and stylus especially.
It's quite difficult with android as there is not a lot of choice for a good one.
