Angel Eyes/Projector Headlamps...decision to be made!

Good or bad idea?

I'm tempted by this or perhaps this

What do you think? I didnt realise the headlamps were so cheap...my only concern is the left/right hand drive positioning of the beams... is there anything else which would cause say the MOT/vehicle check to fail?

They need to be 'E' marked to be UK legal and the first link doesn't mention wether they are or not.

Also your right, the beam pattern will be different for a left hooker.
 
Having just bought a Civic I have to agree with the others, Angel eyes only look good on a BMW.Plus the LHD issue of the beam direction
Just change the orange indicator bulbs to Philips Silver Vision PY21W (my first mod :) )
 
I'm facing the same choice. I want projector lenses for the Clio since the standards are aweful, but I'm not fussed about the Angel Eyes bit. Sadly, the only projectors I can get are AE. :S

They do some black ones which I'm thinking about :)
 
Is it a big issue for them not being E marked. What does AE mean?

Im not really that fussed about angel eyes either, just some of the projector headlamps come with them. I looked at removing the orange lens on the front for the indicators but unfortunately means prising apart the sealed unit... (this can cause all sorts of problems when it comes to resealing it again therefore not worth the risk).
