Anglesey track day 5th September - £79

Well, arrived at the circuit around 8:00 in the evening, pitched the tent and wandered off in search of Kev from TDR forum. We'd agreed to meet up for a chat and a pint so that's precisely what we did, top fella and an interesting evening.

Up early Friday morning, not a cloud to be seen or a breath of wind ;D, should be a good day.

Signed on and briefing....briefed, I've booked inters this time round so we're first group out. Gear on, in to pit lane and we're soon out on the track for 3 sighting laps, in go the yellows and we're off....for about half a lap. Red flags are out, some ones down exiting the right hander between rocket and peel, no injuries but a smashed engine cover and lots of oil across the track, this stopped play for the next hour (think I'll be picking up some engine covers don't fancy being 'that' guy :) ).

Out we go for the 2nd session, thankfully no flags and we run the full 20 minutes and concentrate on lines, body positioning and picking up the pace.

Session 3 :(, 3 sighting laps and then two lads collide going into the bus stop. They're a bit banged up and trip to the medical centre for one of them, nothing too serious and no air ambulance fortunately. That's that session over and a break for lunch.

Sessions 4 to 6, thankfully no more red flags and only a couple of localised yellows for the odd lap. No sighting laps in the afternoon so the tyre warmer lot come steaming past on the first lap ;D.

Pace is really picking up now and I'm merrily grinding away the foot pegs, loving these tyres, superb for touring rubber.

Now for some pic whoring :D
