Well folks, it's starting to look like an Anglia again. This is where I started in June 2005, I present you my rotten 1967 Ford Anglia:

And this is where I've got to today, it's finally looking like a car again:

It's been three years, three months and six days since the grinder came out in a big way and surely I can't be far off now...

Wire it up, put the exhaust and intake on, plumb the brakes up, door and boot seals and I think that's pretty much it.

Yup, it was too rotten to save the front metalwork so I flipfronted it

1700cc pre-crossflow with race head, race cam and twin Webers

It's a mix of a heavily decked overbored crossflow block with flat top pistons and a full race Cortina pre-crossflow head. Basically you get the advantage of the extra capacity of the crossflow with the better flow from the pre-crossflow head. Win win
