Just a heads up to anyone interested, Angry Birds is available for the pc.

After hearing Angry Birds this, Angry Birds that on various podcasts for the last year or so I jumped in and bought it the other day. And although it's ok, I'm amazed at the fuss. Ok, I'm only in the first section of levels, but it's very similar to lots of other games I've played before. Maybe it gets better?

I think you can get a refund within 24 hours, but I forgot to check in time. :-)

As a game for a phone it's awesome, as a PC game I can't see it being that special.

I saw Angry Birds was on the new App Store for Macs yesterday. Great game but can't help agreeing that while it's perfect for phones and tablets, it would be somewhat underwhelming on a PC/Mac.

Its a great game for my iPhone because well you can just pick up and play. So it was great for portablity.
Not so sure on it for the PC, though I guess it could be a nice game to have on a netbook or a lower specced laptop which you move about with.

It's a perfect game for smartphones/tablets with the finger control and small screen. I’m not sure whether it will work well on a PC as it won't have the same impact.
