Anidees Cube Fan Configuration

Hi all,

I've recently completed my first PC build, all went smoothly, it works and have run in to no trouble so far with it.

I wanted to swap out the front fans in the Anidees cube for some Thermaltake ones which I have just done but the four I removed from the front I have now put in the top plus an extra one at the bottom as I had a spare...10 fans in total plus the CPU cooler

The Ryzen software says it's idling at around 32 degrees but if I have all cores flat out it jumps up quickly as expected but it's not going that high, may be to around 55 degrees if I just run Cinebench.

Just wanted to check if what I have done is ok or if any of the fans should be facing a different way....

Some photos attached, any help would be great..

Apologies for the sideways pics

Thanks

I'd flip the ones on the top to face the other way and the same with the one at the bottom. Everything else looks fine.

That way, you'll have bottom and front as intake. Top and back as exhaust.

Thanks both for the replies, I’ll flip the top ones, might swap them back round as the orange ones are really subtle behind the glass compared to the rest.

Is it worth leaving the bottom one in as it to to prevent dust or is it best just to not have it?

Thanks

Valid point about the dust, But the case comes with dust filters doesn't it? So the only problem you'd have is you'd be cleaning it more often.

I'll be honest, i've never bothered with bottom fans and mines never exploded.

I'm not familiar with that case but a lot of cases don't have filters on the bottom fans :s

I've generally ended up with just not using a bottom fan at all but if you are using multiple GPUs or some setup like that it could be worth it - best to have a look at idle and load temperatures with and without it connected up and see if its doing anything tangible - you've got enough fans in general there shouldn't really be any pockets that aren't getting enough airflow without it.

There is a dust filter, it was only really as I had a spare fan laying around that I put it in, temperature wise the machine doesn't run that hot anyway and doesn't seem to be making much of a difference with it in. There's no big GPU's just a really basic card as it purely a rendering machine. I'll test it again today once I've swapped the fans around again.

Thanks again for the help.
