Dear All,

I'm trying to make some informed decisions regarding the various Anidees cases.

OCUK Stock 3 Anidees Cases:
Plain: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-006-AD&groupid=2362&catid=2177&subcat=
Silenced: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-009-AD&groupid=2362&catid=2177&subcat=
Windowed: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-005-AD&groupid=2362&catid=2177&subcat=

The OCUK Tech Labs do their own pre-noise damped take on the normal case and the windowed case:
Normal: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-007-AD&groupid=2362&catid=2297&subcat=
Windowed: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-008-AD&groupid=2362&catid=2297&subcat=

Can someone please explain a few of the differences between them?

1) How do the different damping materials compare?

2) How does the coverage differ between the Anidees damped and OCUK TL damped versions?

3) What coverage does the OCUK TL Windowed version have - is it as per the Anidees Silenced version minus the window?

Thanks for your help,
Dave.

These questions would better be answered in the Customer Service section as they are OcUK product specific.

hi

The stock case has no soundproofing

the anidees silenced one is decent and has a foam silencing layer installed from the factory

the OcUK tech labs versions are essentially the plain cases but with our own foam silencing material in there

our material is slightly thicker foam that is not as dense but has the additional layer of leathery material. the sound deadening is really good, i have used it in a few builds now and it makes a big difference.

the sound kits from ocuk tech labs are an exact fit and are custom made to fit the case.

in answer to your second questions, the ocuk case has more dampening than the stock anidees silenced case

the coverage obviously doesnt include the window.

If i were you and was looking to achieve a silenced solution, i would consider a non windowed case as this has no areas that are uncovered by the deadening meaning it is quieter.

Sorry for posting in the wrong place. Thanks for your help.

So in conclusion sounds like an OCUK tech labs with or without a window is best.

Two more questions (for now)
1) Does the sound proofing compress enough to allow cable routing behind the motherboard as per the un-soundproofed design?

2) Can the windowed panel be purchsed separately?
