N00b alert,

is each day in the game represented by each day in real life?

Stupid question i know, but its not stated in the manual or nowt.

an i just got it.

So do you miss stuff by not playing it every day? Trying to work out if I've got the patience and/or staying power for it.
 
Yep, your towns people move out and your town gets overgrown with weeds.

You also miss out on items and bells out the trees.
 
and other visiting characters, like the turnip seller only comes on sundays or summat lol.

only got it lastnight so gettin to grips with it.

Can play this while playing wow lol.

Similar experiance, lol fishing.

yeah you can set the clock back on the ds and game card, or forward should you wish to time travel lol.

I've had this game for 6 days now and i really do like it. I don't think it lived up to all the hype (then again, what does these days?) but i fired through new mario so i could have more time with this game.

It does have it's boring times, especially when there's no one to wifi with but i can easily play it for a couple of hours a day minimum.

Exactly the same here, I think its because I bought Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros at the same time and havent given it enough attention, but in the few hours I have spent on it, I just cant get into it :(
 
I'm sort of getting into it. I can't stop playing it, dispite not really doing much ! It's got that 'just five minutes' thing to it, where you turn the DS on just to see if there's any fish to be caught. No idea why though, cos it's normally the kind of thing I'd hate. It lends itself to the DS perfectly though, what with the stylus and the zero loading times meaning you can just do that five minute fish check.

Anyways, I have a girlfriend waiting to play mario mini games with me, the DS awaits......

As much as i like this game, ive a 300k mortgage, no job and nook is offering 77 bells for turnips.

Can i file for bankruptcy? :P

Tight is a major understatement. I have a house full of turnips, i need some cash back before my heavies get sent round to take my furniture away!

Someone on avforums was getting offered over 400 bells for turnips and i get 77 bells?

I'll put nooks windows in if he keeps this up. You should be able to rob the post office or something! :p
