Animated GIF editor

Just need to adjust an animated GIF I've got (change a few pixels in a few frames), but cannot find a free editor to do this?

Anyone recommend on...

PhotoPlus doesn't even open up the GIF correctly. It chops it in half

Same thing... 160+ layers and unable to edit individual layers/images...

If you can wait a while Gimp will work with the Gap plugins pack, should be out soon.

You could get hold of the previous version of Gimp and Gap while you're waiting? I'm guess it can be found somewhere. As I haven't used Gap I wouldn't know if the previous version did all that you wanted but it looks like it could.
It doesn't usually take too long for the Sourceforge guys to update Gimp and it's addons once the source code is released.
