Animated GIF maker for the Mac?

I used to use Animation Shop (the Paint Shop Pro add-on bit) to make Animated Gif files. I was just wondering if there was any software to do this on the Mac?

Preferably free!

Alternatively is there a way of doing it in Photoshop?
