Animating CMD Files

Just wondering if anyone knows how to do this or has any useful links.

I want to use an animated progress indicator of the kind you used to get when installing MSDOS games, in a script I'm using. Eg the rotating slash |/-\| type thing, or the =========== with a percentage indicator.

Hmm I've got a few things going in an animated fashion now; the difficulty is going to be relating this to the % of file copied..
