anime suggestions

was in hmv looking at the anime section and nothing realy stood out. so looking for suggestions, i prefer the kind of sci-fi ones rather than the martial arts, swords and knives type.

so far i own, akira, ghost in the shell, blood:the last vampire (that is dreadful), ninja scroll, neon genesis evangelion, death and rebirth and i bought virus today.

i was looking at ghost in the shell: stand alone complex today, how good is this?

cheers guys, ill look into those, there are a few places in glasgow that have a decent selection so ill check what they have before i go ordering from the east.

Films like Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Wonderful Days, Blood : the last vampire are all really good and i find they take me out of the world while im watching them

edit: ive just read the first post properly . I liked Blood, its mainly the style i like rather than plot though.

ive got spirited away and watched princess mononoke and loved them, contemplated getting kiki's delivery service today but decided against it. blood was stunning visualy, the plot was just dire.

"tonari no totoro" would that be " my neighbour totoro"? ive heard very good things about this in the past, also looked at metropolis today but alas i have already spent my student loan and most of these will need to wait till january. i seen perfect blue a few years ago, and got slightly lost shall have to watch it again in the near future.

but thank you very much dragonhunter, that shall go to the textfile of purchases required.

bought full metal panic mission 1 the other day and just sat and watched all 4 episodes.... looks like ill need to go into virgin tomorow for mission 2. damn them.

started watching gasaraki, just not managed to drag myself away from the rest of the world for long enough, on the first episode on disc 2 (why does this disc only have 2 epispodes?!?) and my g/f has got FMP mission 4 (finaly) so i can watch that and then 5 6 and 7 that i got while i was waiting on her getting me 4....

The R1 disc i've got here has 3, and even if you've got the ADV UK release it should have 3 (ADV UK DVD's are generally straight copies of the R1's, just converted to PAL and with the trailers changed).

Lost Corpse, I've not heard of Hanaukyo Maid Team La Verite that i can remember, is it any good?

im pretty sure, im jsut sticking my Xbox on jsut now to check (and yea its hte R1)

ah yes, indeed i am talking rubbish, op 3 is called return, i took that as a return to menu or something like that.
